Fair Boothing Instructions

The ICS Career & Resource Fair is for all companies, start-ups and affiliates to connect with talented students and program leads in computing with booths for corporate partners, professional programs and research centers.

Parking – University Club parking is conveniently located in front of the venue. As a benefit of our Corporate Partners program, early-access to complimentary parking is available to you at this venue up to two vehicles per employer. Additional parking is available in the Anteater Parking Structure or please arrange for pick-up at the University Club address if preferred.

Booth Setup – Corporate Partners are welcome to send company banner and materials in advance to Jason King’s attention at Donald Bren School of Information and Computer Sciences, 6210 Bren Hall, UC Irvine, CA 92697 for staff to set-up your booth in advance. Alternatively, you may arrive before the Dean’s Industry Showcase Kick-Off Luncheon at 10:30am on the University Club Lawn, or you can do so after the Dean’s Showcase Kick-Off Luncheon. Please keep in mind, your company may not have a chance to interact with undergraduate honors or student club leaders attending the luncheon, should you choose to set-up after the kick-off luncheon.

Note: Boothing instructions and questions can be answered at the Info Booth UClub entrance.

Booth Tear Down – The ICS Career & Resource Fair will conclude at 4:00 p.m. We ask that companies, students and ICS programs be prepared to take-down their materials by that time. The University Club will assist with tear down once tables are clear.

Name Tags – Please confirm all company representatives RSVP here to ensure sure they are registered and receive a name tag.

Coverage – Ideally, internal and external booth partners will have a representative available for the full three hours of the ICS Career & Resource Fair. It may be helpful to assign multiple representatives within your company or program to take sessions.

  • Fully charged iPad/Laptop/Electronics
  • Tablecloth

Note: ICS will have a default linen available if your company/ program doesn’t have a table cover

Outlets for Demos – There will not be outlets available on the UClub Lawn for digital presentations. If you would like to make presentations or demos available, please bring a pre-charged laptop to include on your table.

Food and Beverages – During the Career & Resource Fair portion of the event to follow, light refreshments will be provided inside the University Club Dining Room.

Restrooms – UClub has bathrooms available onsite

Agenda – We encourage companies to bring multiple staff, including technical, senior leaders, and recruiters to capitalize on the various events and connections offered at the Showcase. Please reference the showcase timeline to plan who will attend which events.

UCI Stem Career Fair vs. ICS Career & Resource Fair
Companies will have the opportunity to leverage the university for its many partnership opportunities, including the ICS Industry Showcase  on Oct. 16th and UCI STEM Career Fair following on Oct. 17th  For targeted networking, recruitment, faculty connections and company-tailored recruitment events in computing, the Bren School of Information & Computer Sciences has developed this inaugural school event, in complement to the longstanding university recruitment fair.
